SLU Medicine 2001

This is my dream.
To be part of the noble profession that
"cures sometimes, relieves often, comforts always."
The journey was not easy.
There were even times when quitting
became an option.
But I believe these times were actually
my strongest moments.
Now my dream is becoming a reality.
As I take another step towards being
an instrument of healing,
I look back, and in all sincerity,
give thanks for the wonderful part
YOU have played in the realization
of my ambition.

For constantly caring for and supporting me...
For molding me into what I am today...
